Official Statement on Free Speech
I'd like to take this opportunity to share some carefully prepared remarks.
It gives me no joy to announce that I will not be exercising my right to free speech during these turbulent times.
As much as I would love to do so, there are too many people presently relying on me to risk my continuing pursuit of what I was sold as the American Dream.
Be it corporate cancellation or a bullet to the brain, the consequences of clumsily crafted words loom too large in this day and age for me to risk the comfort and wellbeing of my blood and business families. To say nothing of my own.
For those of you who are less fortunate and/or less cowardly than me, I wish you only good luck, and promise that if and when your time of need comes, you can crash at mine and I won’t rat you out to the Man.
In exchange, I simply beg that you refrain from oppressing my speech too much should I rediscover my courage during your coming time of power.
Godspeed, brave souls, for I shall be wishing you peace and love from the sidelines.
In selfishly silent solidarity,
Michael
Also,
Thanks.

Need your courageous voice right now. Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather acting in the face of fear.
